Easy Guitar Tab – Soul Man

This is a relatively easy guitar tab performed by Sam and Dave. This was originally posted on one of the first, if not the first, guitar tab sites. There were a few folks who were always tabbing out something and the guy who wrote this guitar was one of the best. I think people like this, who can write guitar tabs, without expecting payment are real treasures. I always tell people to give the artist and writer their due. If you haven't already purchased the Sam and Dave CD you can probably download the song for around a buck. While this guitar tab is easy I think it's pretty accurate. I've been playing it acoustically and I think it sounds great.

Isaac Hayes wrote the song with David Porter. This is a link to the NPR interview I heard around the time he died. If you're a fan of soul music you owe it to yourself to listen to the interview. He talksabout how he came to write this song.
